Photography for
sports events.
Planned coverage for organisers of competitions, meets and sports days. I photograph action, participants and the atmosphere around your event for press, sponsors and your own communications. We agree key times, subjects and deliverables before the day.

A coverage plan for the organiser
The competition and participants
Starts, selected sections and finishes can form a planned series. We prioritise places that tell the story and clarify what one photographer can realistically cover during your programme.
Sponsors and partners
Partner areas, activity around stands and agreed sponsor subjects can be included in the shot list. Tell me which images will be passed on and what usage needs to be agreed.
Communication after the event
A varied selection can support press, news, social media and next year’s marketing. Tell me if specific images are needed quickly so selection and delivery can be planned.
ORIGINAL SPORTS AND RACE PHOTOGRAPHY
Prioritise the
most important moments.
A marathon, swimming meet and club competition each have different schedules. We review the programme, route and access with the organiser’s contact person. The shot list needs to fit the event.
For activities at several locations or simultaneous starts, we clarify priorities early. Covering every participant or many separate locations needs a different plan from an editorial series for organiser communications. I do not promise a photograph of every participant.
For triathlon, Ironman and other multi-discipline races, transport and access between transition zones and disciplines need planning. For championships and meets, we also agree portraits, prize ceremonies and press needs.
See the wider sports photography service or running photography for a separate series with a runner or club.
BEFORE YOUR SPORTS EVENT
Programme and contact person
Send timings, route and a contact who knows the event. Identify the most important moments and explain changes, accreditation and access to the preferred areas.
A specific shot list
Prioritise competition, spectators, volunteers, sponsors and awards around the purpose. We agree where portraits or group photographs can fit without conflicting with other tasks.
Agreed delivery
Identify image recipients and press deadlines. A quick selection and the full edited series are agreed specifically; they are not automatically the same deliverable.
THE EVENT’S STORY
The sport and
the life around it.
Preparation, volunteers, participants and spectators can matter as much to the organiser’s story as the performance. We create variety by prioritising action and surroundings. If you also need sports film, responsibilities and time need separate clarification. Simultaneous stills and film coverage may require additional help.

Send the date, location, duration and programme, plus key deliverables. Describe activities, locations, partner requirements and deadlines. Based in Hørsholm, I quote for the agreed coverage in Denmark or abroad.
Questions from organisers
Can you cover marathons, meets and other sports events?
The assignment is planned around your programme and access. It may be a race, meet or another sports event. Tell me the disciplines so we can assess the coverage.
Does every participant automatically get a photograph?
No. This is not an automatic guarantee. We agree the desired series and prioritise subjects. A system for images of every participant needs a separate agreement.
Can we receive a quick selection after the event?
This can be arranged if selection and editing are given enough time. Specify image numbers and deadlines before booking so delivery can be planned realistically.
Can sponsors use images in their communications?
Yes, with a clear usage agreement. Tell me which partners will use the material and in which channels so usage rights can be included in the quote.
Can we get photography and film from one event?
Options depend on the programme and subjects. Photography and film each need attention, and larger events may require more than one person.
