Still from an event film produced for a business

An editor who understands filming too.

I am a photographer and filmmaker based in Hørsholm. Send your raw footage or plan filming and editing as one assignment. I work on films for businesses, events, brands and private clients, in Copenhagen and remotely.

Before editing, we discuss the audience, key message, viewing platform and deadline. This informs length, format and pace. You receive a specific proposal for deliverables and revisions before work begins.

HOW I CAN HELP

From raw material to a useful film.

Selection and storytelling

I review the footage, find strong shots and build the film around key moments. Interviews, b-roll and atmosphere can form a clear story.

Colour, sound and graphics

I create a consistent visual style through colour work and adjust sound levels, music and simple titles as needed. Subtitles, voice-over and licences are agreed as part of the assignment.

Versions for your channels

A website or presentation film has different requirements from an Instagram Reel or LinkedIn post. We agree crops, lengths and delivery in the formats you need.

Editing your own footage.

Have you filmed an event, interview or campaign? I can edit without having handled filming. Send an overview of the files and examples of your preferred style. I review quality, sound and volume before assessing the scope.

Identify essential clips, people to include and deadlines. If something is missing, I explain early so we can find a workable solution with the available material.

How we work together.

1. Brief and material

We agree purpose, length, format and deadline. Share footage and any logos, text or music requests through an agreed method.

2. First edit

I organise the material and create an edit for consolidated feedback. Revision rounds are agreed beforehand.

3. Finished files

After agreed revisions, I export the approved versions for websites, social media or the planned screening.

SEE THE WORK

Films with different purposes.

The film page shows events, sport, brand content and short formats. Some projects start with a filming day, others with existing material. Editing serves the purpose of each film.

What does video editing cost?

The price depends on raw footage volume and quality, film length, subtitles, sound work, formats and revision rounds. A short film with organised footage is a different assignment from many hours recorded on several cameras.

Describe the project and share a few relevant clips or an overview. I suggest deliverables and pricing before work begins. See photography and film pricing examples.

Questions about film editing.

Can you edit video I recorded?

Yes. I review the material first and agree what can realistically be created.

Can you make landscape and portrait versions?

Yes, if the material suits both crops. Channels and formats are agreed before editing.

Can you film new material too?

Yes. I offer film production from idea to finished film and can plan additional filming if it improves the result.

Are subtitles and music included?

This depends on the agreement. Subtitles, music, licences and other deliverables are described in the quote.

How do I send large video files?

We choose a suitable transfer method once the material volume is known. First send a short description of formats and total size.

YOUR NEXT FILM

Tell me what you have filmed.

Send a few lines about the material, purpose and deadline. I will suggest a realistic plan for editing and delivery.
