Business photography pricing · Planning your budget
How much does
Business photography pricing depends on the brief: a single portrait, staff photographs and a complete company image library need different approaches. This guide explains what affects the quote and what to prepare before commissioning business photography.
I am based in Hørsholm near Copenhagen and photograph businesses across North Zealand and the rest of Zealand by arrangement. Assignments elsewhere in Denmark can also be agreed.

A quote that fits the brief
Business photography pricing: what does the quote cover?
There is no fixed standard price on this page. Business photography is quoted individually, with photography, selection, editing and travel specified. The scope and agreed usage should be clear, so you can compare more than the time spent shooting.
For examples of photographs and assignments, see business photography for companies. A single business portrait for LinkedIn or your CV has its own approach; you can also use the photography and film price estimator.
Five factors that affect the quote
- Preparation: brief, shot list, participants and schedule.
- Photography: shooting time, lighting setups, people and locations.
- Delivery: finished image numbers, selection, editing and formats.
- Usage: your own channels, advertising, press and use by others.
- Practical details: travel, access and deadline.
Ask for VAT, travel and optional additions to be clearly stated when comparing quotes.
Business photography pricing for different image needs
A smaller portrait assignment
One or a few people with an agreed background and crop. Decide whether you need one finished portrait or several expressions, and where the photographs will appear.
Staff portraits at your workplace
Several people are photographed with a consistent look. Scheduling, space for lighting and a coordinator affect the session. Read about staff portraits at your workplace.
A complete image library
Portraits, people at work, interiors and details are planned together. A prioritised shot list helps define the shooting day and the finished deliverables.
A clearer starting point
Include these details in your enquiry
- What should the photographs help you achieve?
- Which people, activities and spaces need photographing?
- Where and when will the shoot take place?
- How many finished photographs do you expect?
- Which channels and formats will you use?
- When do you need the photographs?
A budget or a list of your most important images helps define a realistic proposal. If the scope is still unclear, we start by working through it.
Keep the scope manageable
Prioritise your essential photographs. Combine portraits and workplace photographs on the same day where practical, and have people and rooms ready. This helps create a calm and efficient session.
Agree how changes will be handled: additional people, another location or further editing may affect the quote. Delivery times and image usage are clarified before booking.
For events, the programme and coverage matter. See conference photography and corporate event photography. For ongoing needs, photography and film for social media can be planned together.
Questions about pricing and quotes
Can we agree the price before the shoot?
You receive an individual quote based on the agreed scope. Price, deliverables and usage are confirmed before booking. If the brief changes, we discuss the implications before proceeding.
Does the quote include editing and usage rights?
The quote should describe selection, editing, finished formats and agreed usage. Explain whether the photographs are for your own channels, advertising, press or partners.
What affects the cost of shooting at several locations?
Multiple addresses add travel and may require new lighting setups. Send the addresses, participants and image needs for each location, so planning and travel can be included in one quote.
